Recently I was on the hunt for a versatile pair of pants that would work for my casual everyday life. Sometimes it’s nice to slip into something other than jeans and leggings when I’m on the run with the kids, but I like to make sure I have the same comfort and flexibility. (Oh and I can’t forget they need to be machine washable! Cause #boymomlife) Now enter – the Navigator Classic Ankle Pant – by Kit & Ace. Today I’m sharing a few quick looks on how to style my Navigator Pants and why I love them.
Truthfully, I don’t have a ton of clothes in my closet. I have been pregnant and nursing on and off for the last 5 years and I try to keep it pretty basic and classic so that I can easily mix and match. But I picked these pants up (in black/navy) in September and they have quickly found a spot in the weekly rotation. They come in a wide variety of colours and can easily take you from day to night. So first up is my casual school run look…
Runners + Navigators + Tee + Jean Jacket/Bomber
This is a simple look to pull together with any white or black runners you might have. You can make it more casual and laid back by cuffing the pant leg too. When there’s some snow on the ground this could also work with cozy socks and Blundstone’s. Next look is my business casual attire…
Mules + Navigators + Long Sleeve/Turtleneck + Sweater Vest
Depending on your work vibe and/or climate, I think these Navigators are perfect with a cozy sweater, turtleneck, or blouse and loafers/mules. Next up is my date night look…
Booties + Navigators + Top + Leather Jacket
If you’re looking for a convenient switch from day to night this is doable when you’re busy. Throw a pair of booties or heels on and a leather jacket and you’re good to go! Last but not least is another business casual or dinner outfit…
Mules/Loafers/Heels + Navigators + Top + Coat
Not only do I love these pants for their versatility and comfort, but the design is pretty cool. Navigator pants are:
– two-way stretch
– moisture wicking
– quick dry
– water + stain repellent
– made with cotton
– machine wash + tumble dry low
You know I’m also all about consumer safety and protecting the environment, well these pants are Bluesign Approved which means…
– highest level of consumer safety
– produced with a minimum impact on people + environment
– made from approved chemical products + raw materials. They meet the safety and environmental requirements of Bluedesign criteria and are produced in a resource conserving way.
Go check out your nearest Kit & Ace store or shop the Canadian brand online. My second favourite style Navigator Pant is the Navigator High Rise Pant if you want a front zip and pockets. I think I might have to pop back for those!!
